In love

It’s very warm-hearted that sometimes I visit this website of mine, and I see 3-5 people visit it everyday. It’s not a lot. Maybe it’s some random bot on the internet crawling into my site, maybe it’s some old-schoolers who still enjoy reading blogs. Whoever you are, thank you.

These days, there is a trend of pet owners telling stories of how their dogs and cats died. While it is heart wrecking to watch, I also saw those as signs of how beautiful the world is, the kind of beauty made out of love. I have a soft spot for those poor pets.

I have a “son” too – he is a white cat, his name is Ggu. Ggu as in “woo”. He is a character, and I love him so much. He knows when I am happy, when I am sorrowful, when I am sick. He can be playful and jumpy at times, but overall, he loves me deeply. He have changed my life a lot, in a very good way.

It sounds like it’s so easy for me to be changed by a cat?

It is.

I think, it’s more about if we are open for our heart to be changed. There are many people who care and love me deeply, only a few get the power to change me. I am that stubborn. I am vulnerable in front of them. Ggu included, of course.

That’s how beautiful love is – when it’s so powerful that we allow people to be able to hurt us, to make us fragile, to harm us because they know us so well – but you still allow for that to happen. Because you also love them so much. Because you are safe around them.

It hurts sometimes, but most of the time, it’s rewarding.

I love “love”.

I love being in love.

I love that sometimes it hurts.

I love the struggles, the distance.

I love the basic daily reminders like good morning and good night.

Hmmm, I am a bird, happily in love.
